U.S. News & World Report published its 2020-2021 Best Hospitals list, and for the third consecutive year, Baylor Scott & White is the most award-winning not-for-profit health system in Texas. Our legacy of providing quality, safe care, has propelled us forward once again—even during one of the most challenging times in our more than 100-year history.

It’s like winning the Gold Medal in Nursing. Congratulations to our Baylor Scott & White Health nursing and hospital teams for once again being recognized by the ANCC Magnet® Recognition Program. As the gold standard of patient care, Magnet gives patients the peace of mind that they are receiving the highest quality of nursing care.

Research has shown that patient care outcomes are better at Magnet hospitals, where there is an environment that empowers nurses, values their contributions, and supports nursing leadership. Studies show that Magnet hospitals tend to have lower mortality and infection rates, as well as higher patient satisfaction and nurse staffing levels.
